LONG SHOT FOR RECENT TIDES - COLLABORATION PROJECT.

Collaboration project with: Alejandra Mendez, Hazel Barstow, Viola Tømte, Klara Krämer, Maria Wang Kvalheim. Performance installation project in collaboration with different artist. Part of the SKOP Østfold kunstfestival. Oct. 2016. At the bunkers areas of Hydrogenfabrikken.

We heard that the bunker on Hydrogen plant has been used as a shooting range in recent years. This, and the tone in the room down there, triggered us to think about how the sound must have turned against the concrete. Long shot for recent tides is a sound and motion performance / installation by a group of artists on the occasion Østfold arts festival -SKOP. We will focus on a specific motion for each room in the bunker which together constitute a composition of sound and movement. The space consist in 4 rooms, in which each artist will develop an intervention.

CONSUMING SOUNDS, is the project developed in this collaboration. Working with the concept of weight and self consuming sounds. Exploring the line between installation and performative happenings, visuals in a half stationary condition, a load of potential energy, that will be released by a small action, resulting in movement and sound.
